Need Advice: Help Appriciated

My 94 taurus GL is acting real wierd. Lately it has been like cuttin out on me, like id be down on the pedal and it would just jerk, i had a half a tank when it did that, then it just cut off on me, i had to wait a few. Then after that it ran ok.

Then After that , i drove it back home, cut it off. Next moring it started up but this time it wouldnt go after i put it in drive. It would just stall, but then when i cut it off and have it in nuetral then goto drive it goes but when i let off the gas it wont go no more.

Now My Car is not starting and i think thats just a battery prob. Can U guys let me kno what it might be. or a clue, cuz i called these places but they said i need to kno what is messed up so they kno what type of diagnostics to do on it.

Get a fuel pressure test. A bad fuel pump can do this.

Drivability problems should also include a check of spark plugs. I have had real problems, including the check engine light coming on, caused by old worn out plugs.
