Where to start? '97 civic JDM B16A

Today I bought a '97 civic dx that had a B16A (PR3) swap. It also had been swapped over from an automatic to a manual and stripped of a/c and p/s. The car only has 73K and 2K since the swap on the engine. Some of my concerns are how well the last person did on the swap. As it sits right now it has a busted axle and one bolt sheared off in the block. (Who ever did the swap only put one bolt in the moter mount) The car over all is in good condition with a new paint job, tanabe racing medallion exhaust, aem cai, HASport mounts, 17" Neeper's. My question to everyone is was it worth it for $3500? It is just a hobby car for me and I have mechanic experience but not so much with Honda's. What do I need to look at as the cause of the axle busting? Could it be a poor swap problem? Is there enough space on the block of the engine to drill out the front mount bolt and re-tap it? When I start the car there are no codes flashing but it doesn't seem to be running at it's prime. OBD2 to OBD1 problem maybe or would it show a code. Thanks for your help and go easy on me if the questions are irrelevant I'm new.

you may need to take the radiator and stuff out to get a drill in there to tap the hole and drill out the brokken bolt
