Hey, Im 16 years old and its finally time for a car! :iceslolan I've been looking on autotrader.com for used cars, but I can't decide what to go for. Im looking for something kinda sporty and fun to drive, but not something that will make my insurance fly through the roof. My price range for a car is about up to 9,000.

Ive been looking at: Honda Prelude
Acura Integra
VW GTI

Definatly still open to other suggestions that I didnt just mention there. What whould you do??? I CANT DECIDE :banghead:

The three that you listed sound pretty good. The VW is probably the less expensive to insure. I always suggest the Civic for new owners. Real reliable, good milage and low insurance.

Thanks, I also have an interest in a car with some good low end torque. I want to have fun driving it, but it doesnt need to go so super fast that Ill kill myself. Which type of car would be good for that? I dont care about demestic or import, i just dont want an old muscle car from the 70s or sumthin. Any of the cars I mentioned in the first thread good for this? Or do u have another suggestion?

Oh yeah, and one more question, of the 3 i originally listed, do they all use premium gas? I was just wondering if anyone owns one of those could you tell me?

I would suggest VW. Civic = most stolen car of the year , therfore, cost for insurance is higher. Celica is also a good car, GT model for late 90s is good, MX5 Miata 96 and 99 is great if you want sporty car.
