Thanks.. The paint is Tamiya candy lime green, which imo, is the nicest
color i've used from tamiya sprays. Pictures can't show how nice it looks
in real life.

I like the bodywork, but the wheels turn me off. Those massive sleeves and o-ring tires look cartoonish and silly in my opinion.
It's a well-built model, but an aesthetic slip-up. That's my take.

good build .. i like it .. i do have a queston tho ... mostly because i do not know .. why do you have the tires leaning at such an angle? ...
i know about chamber and such when setting up the suspension .. but never seen any type of race car (or street car for that matter less it had bent axles or bad alignment) .. that has that extreme of an angle on the wheels.

Show that car standing still, and I bet you $5 that the wheels wouldn't be leaning in that much. While a car moves, there is all sorts of weight transfer and body roll, I don't care how stiff you set it up, so a picture of it in action doesn't convince me.

Well I was not trying to convince anyone, and I don't realy come to this forum to argue with people how ever most people on here seem to me to be just waitig to argue and make other peoples cars look bad bottom line is it is not your build and Camber built it to how he likes to see a car ...

ya, the rim is from Fujimi, called Advan RG. Camber adds a ring outside the rims to make a deep rim look.

Camber + = better grip
Tires tend to lead outward in hard cornerings. its like tires kicking back to the asphalt i guess...
also i heard that the less rubber that touches the ground, less drag you'll have dunno abt that tho...

Cool model.. Love the color!
Doesn't really matter about the camber, you can have mosnter camber for drift or slight camber... My stock Mercedes has rear wheel camber for handling... and you should see my buddy's POrsche... rear wheel camber heaven.
Like ANtonio says "Build models for yourself" realism is not always compeltely approporaite. we are going after illusion right?

Wow, I did'nt expect 20+ replies to be an argument over the camber.
I personally dont give a shit about the correct camber on 1:1 cars, Its
not like this cars going to be hitting the track any time soon. Its a model
people. I like the way it looks anyways, so it's not going to change.
It seem like all my finished threads turn into a argument over something
1:1 related, its really sickening me
What I think the problem is, is that everyone is only looking at the D1
Drift cars which are all over anymore, which dont have much camber at
all. Take a look at zilvia.net, or some other drifting galleries non D1
related, you'll see what im talking about. Also take a look at just about
all the GP Sports cars, they have about the same amount of camber as
my sil80..
And finally, I think the car looks more aggresive, which is why it's not
going to change.
Thanks for the positive replies also. :sly:

sorry to bring the camber crap up again, but the reason most of those demo cars of GP sport, or Kazaama... etc has so much camber, because Nissan S13 and S14 can't take anything wider than 9 inch up front and 11 inch at the back.
To able to stuff so many rubber/wheel into the car and looks good, massive negative camber is need. But who give a shat, back to topic.

I'm not arguing. Just saying. That's all. Drift isn't my taste, and looks silly to me. But whatever.
And, what I do apologize for is forgetting to say this:
I like it, Camber, the color looks slick with the gold wheels and those shiny lips. Very cool, man, your cars look awesome and this will go well with that white FC that you made. I was even going to make a quip about how the windsheild banner looks like it says "RUST" but I don't want to raise anymore eyebrows... seriously, folks, let's have some fun here. Don't let statements turn into arguments, I can't imagine anyone here wants that.

Although...the only reson it had camber was becuase of the size of the rims.
But i agree, it makes it look more agresive.

Well, I like what I see! It's great to see those are the Fujimi wheels, which sucks without any modifications. For me, it's a bit too deep.. but it adds character to the car, and the drift car theme! Great work.
