I swear, stupid people rule the world...

I seen them everywhere, school, in the media...

people ask dumb questions about things my small, 15 year old brain has already known and comprehended for years....

When will it STOP???

any of you guys have stories about stupid people?

Sadly, that's the truth. And it's said that there are no stupid questions. But I'm gonna raise the :bs: flag on that, because there are. No specific situations, except in class there is always at least one person who will ask about 30 questions in an hour and a half long class. Usually asking a question about something that the professor just answered two minutes before. People don't pay attention. That's the problem.

Unfortunately, were all the stupid people of the Earth knocked off, there would be no one left on this planet.

I'm a mechanic for Mercedes so I get some pretty stupid complaints about the cars. It's actually kinda confusing. You'd think that to be able to afford a Mercedes you would need some kind of education and a good head on your shoulders. Maybe it's being dumb, maybe it's just laziness. Here's a few examples:

Asking us to fill up the windshield washer fluid (and that's all they come in for!)- Yes, we will do it of course, but c'mon. It takes a lot more time and effort to wait in our service drive than to just do it yourself.

Checking tire pressures - Once again, no problem for us to do it but it really only takes 1-2 minutes. You can do it while you fill up your tank.

They can't figure out how to make the lights come on inside the car when they open the door - It's a single, very visible, switch by the reading lights.

They don't make sure their vehicle has gas before complaining - It has happened more than a couple times. People come in screaming about their car having a problem. Ends up they have no gas.

CD changer problems - The CDs end up being upside down in the changer. :screwy:

Plus many other little complaints that only take a minimal time to think about or are clearly written in the owners manual.

blindside, I have a solution. For every dumb customer that comes in, confiscate their cars and ship them to me.

I came close at my last site.

"You're IgnORANT Rhys!"

"What? Ignorant? Do you mean arrogant by any chance?"

"Yeah, thats what I meant"

Then he walked off.

It amazes me how some people get promoted. This guy was dead mans shoes.

I make it a point now to say GOOD MORNING! in my loudest conversation voice to the ones who never answer me.

In my little corner of the world,I work with people whose sole function for 8 hours a day is to lift packets of product off a conveyor belt and put them into cardpoard cartons. Some have known no other work since leaving school, and have been there over ten years.Their entire conversational repertoire revolves around their work and the people who stand next to them. They are blissfully ignorant of the processes that bring the product to where they stand, and they care not about what happens to the cartons once they are full.

Seniority, rather than ability determines their progress through the factory, eventually placing some of the dumbest people in charge of the most expensive pieces of machinery. The entire production process has been dumbed down into McJobs so simple that a twelve year old could cope with them, and yet equipment still gets fried, pumps get dead-headed,gearboxes get stripped and multi-millillion dollar robots get 'adjusted' with large hammers.

To these people,it's all a game,a war between the workers and the management.Anyone who does their job with any degree of initiative or professionalism is an arse-licker.Anyone who gets ahead through ability rather than dead mans shoes is the devil incarnate.
FUCK THEM ALL.I used to pity them, but now I despise them.I'd rather get ahead on fair terms with the management than sit back and hurl insults, and wait for someone else to leave so that I can have their job.

Stupid people work in large factories.Never underestimate the destructive capabilities of morons in large groups.
