Guys.... I need some advice..
So I'm getting an N/A... I also found a Twin Turbo set up from a Low Mileage 1994 Mazda Rx-7. Just wondering what are the obsticles!? Is it possible to do this? What are other problems I will encounter when performing this task?? And is this an easy bolt on application as far as putting it together?? Please let me know ASAP, thanks!

I'm guessing your getting a N/A 13B 2-rotor, and want to use the twin turbo from the 13B REW 3-rotor... if so I'm gonna have to say I would strongly urge you to think about a new path... basically you have to change everything about the engine... now if you got a TII you might be able to get the twin turbo from the 13B REW with less work but still, putting two totally different things together is not gonna be fun and is gonna cost you a ton of $
EDIT: I just saw this while I was looking around on different sites, I didn't read it but it sounds like something that you may want to look at. http://www.aaroncake.net/RX-7/naturbo.htm

You'd also need custom motor mounts made. 13bREW is not the same as 13bTT. I don't even think the tranny bolts up.

There is no such motor as a 13B-REW 3-rotor.
The 13B-REW is the moniker given to the FD motor, they were all twin turbo. The 13B-RE is the motor that was put in the Cosmo's in Japan.
IIRC, the 20B 3-rotor was never factory produced with a turbocharger installed.

If you want to run stock FD twins in a true sequential fashon, then you need to get all the electronics, etc. If you want to run them just as twins, non sequential, then I suppose you would need a custom manifold, oil lines, etc... I really dont think the gains would be worth the hassle.

What the, I posted first!
Didn't even realize he typed "3-rotor" I kinda just saw 13bREW and went with that. I know it's not 3 rotor.

:uhoh: All 20B 3-rotors came from the factory with twin-turbos....

They were twin? How'd they pull that off? I've always thought they were single, but then again I know nothing about the cosmo...

The exhaust ports on the 13B-REW are bigger than the earlier 13B's. You will need a custom manifild for the twins = big money.
You will not be able to operate the twins sequentially as indicated above unless you use a Haltech E11K as far as I know the E11K is the only EMS that will control the twins seguentially.
The 13B-REW will bolt up to a 2nd gen tranny, trust me, I know. ;)
Like everyone said it is generally a PITA to turbo a N/A. I know 2 people that have sucessfully done it. One has a true n/a motor and runs very low boost (5 PSI) and from what he says the throttle response is awesome and it puts down decent power. (240RWHP is what I recall) I dont know a lot about his setup but I know it was not cheap.
The other Turbo N/A blew its engine. The owner took the opportunity to put lower compression Turbo rotors in when it was apart. His setup is pretty simple, hybrid t-04e, 720cc secondaries, s-afc, manual boost controler. He is running about 12 PSI and the car is pretty damn quick.
You might want to consider selling your N/A and looking for a TII. I think it will cost you less in the long run.
