ok I just got done shopping for next year what do ya think.
1. precision TE-63 big shaft turbo.
2. Tony dequick front mount intercooler.
3. MSD 55# per hour injectors
4. Translator plus with a lS1 MAF.
5. super extender chip.
6. POSI ( no more one wheel wonder burnouts.)
5. BFG comp T/A's drag raidal for the steet and slicks for the track.
6. bigger rear breaks for to hold massive ammounts of boost on the line.
All of this is complementing/replacing my current setup. I want low 12's on street tires and pump gas. High 11's on street tires and race fuel, and low 11's on race gas and slicks

Posi for sure man!!!!! BFG's has great grip, cold or heated, but crappy tire life. I went with Nitto's cause of the added tire life, but they just need to be heated to perform at thier best.

What gears do you have? POSI, son we call them limited slip in these parts of the woods :naughty:
Where is your shift point?
Sounds like a very good plan. Your fuel going to be OK?
Nittos for me as well:)
Do you run a line lock?

also, Eaton still calls their differential a Posi. It's their brand name.
I don't think the drag radials are really all that great of a street tire. they wear out wuick and are worthless in the wet.

Actually, my Nitto d/r's are a lot better in the rain then my old Avon radials ever were. Just the Nitto's suck in temps below 32*.

32 F?
even if it was celcius, I can't imagine it takes too long to get tires up to those temps.

I have a set of plane jane street tires for just putzin around... the BFG's are just there for cruise night.
As for the nittos..... Nothing agenst Japan or anything of the sort. But I would feel too weird for not supporting an american product.(Im not racist or anything like that it's just personal perfrence.) My shift points right now Skyline is at 5100 RPM anything over that and it just drops out of the powerband. They are slow turning engines. Also for fuel I will have probabally have a tad too much. The Buick computers goes into a power enrichment mode when the TPS hits a certian voltage (I think 3.75v or something like that.) When it does this the computer forgets about the o2 sensor and just starts sprayin fuel to no tommrow. I try to keep my o2 readings in the 760-780 milivolt range. My gears are the stock 3.42's I don't run line lock yet I got the kit though. The cool thing with an automatic and turbo is that I can powerbreak and bring the engine up to 3000RPM and I can hit max boost. The GN is the smokeshow king because of this.
I would also like to correct this... I will be running 50# injectors not 55. and I will be getting a cam with a 218 duration with a 473 lift
Don't make fun of an open rearend..... I got a 1.80 60' time with an open rearend. :evillol: :icon16: :icon16:

Instead of getting a TE-63, get a PT61. It will spool a lot faster than a TE63 and they are pretty much equal in power output.

Nitto DR's in the snow on a 91 notch with a 347. Couldn't even get the car to move on a flat. LoL

I was going to but, my uncle is buying a F.A.S.T. system, and all sorts of other stuff, from PTE and He said that he would throw in a TE-63 with a precision housing for 725 bucks. Beseids I was wanting a big shaft turbo I have no sneeze valve.
