hey i just bought a white 2000 gt eclipse with 40k and I put cold air intake (AEM) and I was wondering if there is some kind of performance chip that is worth buying or what would be the best thing to start off with if im looking to add some hp?

There is no performance chip available for the 3G. Anything you see on Ebay, wherever, is a scam.
Start with the basics, Since you already have an intake, get catback exhaust next. You dont need headers. Your Eclipse is a Fed Spec and has pretty good flowing manifolds as it is. You might gain a few from it, but its not worth the cost.
The one thing I HIGHLY recommend is getting a firm front motor mount from www.deyemeracing.com It only costs between $50-$60, and it is by far the best bang for you buck mod around.

Hi all,
I got a 2003 GT eclipse this summer and I’ve been thinking about adding some mods to it. The first problem that I have is that I don’t know anything about cars, and I want to put a spot to that. The second one is that I don’t even know where to start looking for things to do to my car and I don’t want to lose the guaranty on it either.
Are there any recommendations for what I could do to educate myself and put a stop to my ignorance?

that depends really. i would go for the turbo kit and then get the LSD. That is where you are going to notice it the most.

I would do an LSD first actually. You risk breaking your stock differential with a turbo kit. Build it up first. Then, you can get used to the LSD before you go and strap 100+ HP to the car as well.

To get real specific, it is named Dinitrogen Monoxide, so the symbol is really N20.
