Ok, well I went to go install my springs yesterday right, well no luck, it didnt work, no need to go into the details. So I call up places this morning to see how much it would cost to get done, and these are what the first seven places told me: $350, $290, $490, $400, $300, $310, $520. I was about to shoot someone, no way I was paying someone that much. Anyway, FINALLY I found a shop that charged $130, took it in, and I should have the car back by Weds, and Ill have pics then.

Have you ever been misdiagnosed at an automotive repair place and still had to pay for it? That will piss you off I promise

for all the reasons of cost and lack of attention etc. NO ONE works on my car but me. I made the mistake of letting a Speed Lube do my oil a while back and they were so careful as to cross thread my oil drain plug. just one more reason not to let anyone touch my stuff.

the thing that sucks is I know there are a lot of people out there who are careful and do good work but it only takes the one or two screw up mechanics out there to give them all a bad name in my book. as a general rule the way i look at it is that since it is not theirs, some people just really don't give a d@mn

if you live near RI ill do it for you for $50, it will take about 2 hours.

labor is expensive, i work for a lincon/merc. dealership and they charge customers $70 a hour for the flat rate labor, so say ball joints takes about a half hour to do on most cars, the book says it takes 3 hours so thats what you guys pay for. oh well best thing you can do is learn to work on your cars yourself. springs are very easy to do, you need a 14mm and a 17 mm and a 12mm (front brake lines) and a spring compresser (rent from autozone) anyways, post pix's of what she looks like lowered
