to keep the sucker on

I bought a nice silver/carbonfiber shifter for my automatic last year, had it on my car for a week, and then took it off.

Problem: the shift knob kept on becoming loose again. Even after tighting the 3 tiny screws to max without striping the suckers.

Any ideas on how to keep it on without loosing up?

C'mon don't be a wuss... TIGHTEN those hex-screws! ;)

get lock tite or something from your hardware store. prevents threads from loosening. used it on my drum pedals.
