yea im in cali and a officer in my high school brings one of those to my high school sometimes, but its been a while we seen him or his car

holy crap, would never spot one of those at night, glad there not in my city yet.

I'm in So Cal, but have yet to see one of those. Guess thats good though.

I see them all the time in SoCal on I-5 near the border, usually have some Mule* pulled over... I've seen them in Texas too.







Mule: A word commonly used to describe trucks that haul short trip containers across the border. And are usually driven by a Mexican.

They've had those for a few years here in Colorado. They even race one at the local track.

Im from Vancouver so i see lots of beautiful cars that are quite fast, but i have yet to see a nice cop car.

I live in AZ and I just seen a plain stock silver 03 Mustang GT with no lights on top pull someone over. Shit is getting rediculous in AZ. We've had the SS around for a while, mostly highway patrol. The mustang almost looked like a ricer with flashing head/tail lights

We've got Z28 cop state troopers, and I've seen them in almost every color available. Makes them hard to decipher unless on top of them and able to see things like the radar gun inside, or the small badges on the sides of them...

ys, here in teh detroit area we have SS, vette, nitrous fed mustang cop cars... its crazy. I haven't seen many of the vettes or mustang cops cept at the woodward dream cruise.

On the CHP's homepage, you'll see a picture of Camaros and a helicopter, seems like a warning for California drivers

Why would they put nitrous on a cop car? Have you seen this personally. I dont think the police force could get away with using funds for that type of modification.

You'd be surprised what they can get away with.
especially if the cops paid for it themsleves.
I think It's also used in the "Beat the Heat" drag races.

Dont you remember on Black Sheep?!?!?!? (i think it was that one....one of those movies) Chris Farely (sp) had nitrous in his cop car....and they went over a bump and opened the bottle....and were high driving....

we have one LS1 cop car here. that sometimes is in teh city, buy usally on the highway. at night, youd never know it was a cop car. heh and the guy that used to drive the car got fired because he took a couple kids for a ride up to like 120 mph.

I know a Georgia highway patrolman who used to have a supercharged 5.0 LX as his patrol car......

FHP in dade(county of miami) has confiscated a Lamborghini Diablo and use it to run people down so says the FHP site. Most of em have Corwn Victorias or LS1 camaros. They used to have a lot of LX notchback Mustangs years ago and a few 70's corvettes.

An awsome movie.....but remember, just a movie. Also it was in some hick ass town where the cops prob. supply their own car. lol

i ahve never personally seen, just heard rumors about it from newspapers a long while ago. You also need to remember that i live in detroit, ive seen more than one cop chase in my life, and im just glad i never tried to run, as there are LS1 police powered cars of teh camero and corvette running around this area, and along with a rumored nitrous fed mustang. i dont know if its 100% true, but its been published places, so i dont see why it wouldnt be.
