I got a 1972 Z/28 Camaro zero modifications to anything on the car. it has a 350ci turbo fire engine, a four barrel carb, a 4 speed muncie m22 rock crusher tranny with a hurst shifter. posi traction rear end, it puts out 330hp remenber it has no mods. it runs high 12s- low 13s in 1/4 the mile. victems one stang,one eclipse hahaha, and three vetts. so far. next victem a dude at my school with a 13 second honda civic hatch back. :)

I think your 1/4 mile time's alittle too quick for a stock car over 30 years old. A Z06 can nudge into mid 12's stock. Don't forget that's with 405 horsepower, 6 speed, and more modern suspension. :disappoin

i would love to see a car with 330 horsies do a 12 second 1/4 mile, especially an old car that is heavy. i guess he could dream that, but i would think thats it.

*Ponders* I can see the 'Stang and definately the Eclipse but I just can't imagine the 'Vettes. The car to race around here to see how you stack up is a Corvette. Granted it's not a Z06 but it would still beat a stock '72 Camaro. Good luck against the Hatchback either way. Those cars in particular just get on my nerves.

Seriously, the only way a heavy '72 Camaro is doing 12's in the 1/4 with only 330 rwhp is if the thing has been gutted, shaved and the track goes down hill.
