Hey,
I am installing an amp and I need to find out if I can tie into the stereo wires on my Grand Prix 95, I will be replacing my stock radio in a couple of months, but I'd like to have the amp working for these months also. I would just like to tie into a set of wires on the passenger side, and if someone can tell me the colors of the wires I should be looking for, it would help a lot. I don't want to tear apart my dash to get to them.

Thanks
Blake

on my old 92 GTP i believe it was green wires and brown wires, I dont remember if that was for the front or rear though, but there will be 2 wires of each color and one has a black line on it also. + and -

what you need to do is go to your local stereo shop and ask them for a conversion box so you can run an amp and subs with your stock head unit. what is it? just a box that on one side has a place for regular stereo wire to hook up and on the other side has a spot for RCa jacks. all you have to do is splice into one of the rear speakers to hook it up get a set of RCA cables to hook the box to your amp. run your power wire and hook up the subs. and you are done.

keep in mind this shouldn't be a perminate install though I have heard of installs like this blowing amps from loose connections and crossed wires, if you want this done right your going to have to pull apart you dash, its really not that hard, it comes out pretty easy
