ok....so i'm at the wiring stage and i've decided to do it without taking out the dashboard, basically running 2 ecu's kind of in parallel with each other. I've wired the EJ20g ecu according to the schematics and my voltage readouts are consistent for the most part. now i've hooked up the fuel injectors and grounded them through the ecu, but they only see 1.63 volts, not the 12v they are supposed to see when the ignition is on. The codes being flashed are 14-17 which are the 4 injector codes and the IAC. I was told i'm supposed to run the injectors and IAC on the same circuit with a constant 12v and leave the grounds as is (injectors grounded to ecu, IAC grounded to the ground coming from the pressure sensor). My question is...why the hell are there 4 wires from the ecu for the injectors when you're not supposed to use them? And, is that method correct? or am i on my own here? not many ppl on nasioc wire in 2 ecu's so they're not really on the same page as me. any input from some subaru guru here? thanks in advance.

woot...fixed it myself. ok...so for anyone who can use this information i'll post up!
basically...i was told by a mechanic that subaru injectors are powered AND grounded via the ECU. Well...after hooking up the injectors to the ecu and grounding them to the injector ground wires i got nothing. all i had to do was provide a constant 12v source when ignition was @ 12v, this was a yellow/blue that was the same on all 4 injectors. Then wire the other 4 wires into the ecu according to the pinout. THEN ground the 2 injector grounds from the ecu to the engine or another ground source i guess. all 4 spray fuel. now i will finish up and be able to know what a 280 + hp gc8 impreza feels like....i can't freaking wait!

the mechanic was BASICALLY right, but he told me to wire the injectors power AND ground to the ecu directly...that is WRONG!!!!
