Hi
I've got a 91 C2 turbo and I'm thinking of replacing the hood, front left and right guards and rear engine lid with carbon fibre or fibreglass panels for weight reduction.
Has anyone done this to their 911 ?
What were your experiences ?
Also is there any benefit of carbon fibre apart from the strength ?
Do you know of any manufacturers of these parts ?
Thanks
Your comments are appreciated.

The only real benefit to carbon fibre is that it's significantly stiffer than fiberglass. It's not all that much lighter, really.

They have just about everything you could want in carbon fiber and fiberglass.
