97 TA Transmission Main Seal

My Main Seal is leaking some transmission fluid and the drive shaft has about 1/4 of play in it i was wondering if any one could tell me what i am needing to replace? Is it a bearing bushing? any advice would be greatly appreciated

forgot to tell you it has an auto tranny

I dont know what i was thinking it wouldnt be the main seal. I am not sure what it is called it is where the driveshaft connects to the engine sorry for my stupidity
