Neither, they're hideous. Stick with the stock ones, or at the very least, if you have to change it, change it to the exported Camaro taillights, the ones that are solid red on the outsides, then solid yellow, then solid white. I'm referring to the taillights that went on the Camaros bound for Europe...

I don't like them much either...maybe some simple smoked covers...

Every time I see a camaro on the street with a set of them lights I want to follow him home, shoot him and break his damn lights. Sorry, but it's my opinion that the camaro looks perfect the way it is. Why mess it up with frilly shit? If it's functional to the performance of the car, then yeah go for it..like some of these nifty hoods they have out now, or even some of the after market ground effects that actualy do improve aerodinamics. But stickers, lights, spinning rims, lit up exhaust pipes, thats all rediculouse to me.

Burn: My Car is black but Ill problably paint it red it gets too fucking dirty too fucking fast besides the fact that the paint is all scrashed and I like the color red on camaros.
1992RS: LoL: it was just a thought I have never seen a camaro with those kind of lights even thought the bottom one are not that ugly I know that the top ones are fucking ugly.
Ill look for a website where I saw some tail lights that look good Ill post it later

i agree with 1992RS, the people that do that shit to their camaros do need to be shot..... repeatedly...... then shot again for good measure.

Lol, sorry to say but i have a set of clear tail lights on my camaro :p they're much better looking than these ones you have posted here and on my black Z they look amazing. I get countless comments on how good they look on my car. Yes I agree that these ones look shitty, but I have to say that I love the clear tail lights I have on my car, definitely better than the standard rear lights which look too dull and boring. But obviously my taste is different to everyone elses on here :p

yeah, its all personal taste, i dont like the ricer look on anything, and cant figure out why people do it, but then again, im a redneck, it dont have to be purdy as long as its fast :) i would go with smoked, im looking to completely black out my car, tinted windows, black paint job, blacked out rear lights and smoked headlight covers. and accent it with 17in chrome torque thrust II rims. and raised white letter goodyears. as far as your clear tail lights Zwrangler, you also own a civic, need i say any more ;)

went outside one day that i was bored, took off my tail lights and side markers, sprayed a couple of coats of clear-coat on em, and theyve never looked better. hell of a lot cheaper than them euros and a whole hell of a lot better lookin. covered up the little scratches in em too, look real purdy and all shiney like.

wax does the same thing, and its not as messy as paint. perhaps more maintanaince intencive, but id personally just feel weird spray painting my tail lights.

Theres a few pics of my car here, including 2 pics of the rear with its clear lights.
my site :) (http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/503401)
I still think its a better look than the boring looking stock ones. But smoked would look good too, especially on a black Z.

Yeah i Think those are exactly the ones I saw. I like them: pretty cool. But please take the licence plate off the front of the car. And those strips are gray right? I cant distinguish them because of the sun. Pretty Nice car man.

genopsyde do you have the smoked headlight covers??? what company did you go with for the light covers front and back, and are you happy with them, i saw one company, who said it was held on by velcro, and im not to sure i like that idea, im not sure they would stay on. what do you have to hold them in place. ????

Why don't you make your own? A friend of mine did it to his camaro. Just go to a local glass shop and ask them for some smoked plexiglass. You can bend it with a heat gun and a straight edge in a vice. The lights on your camaro are pretty flat, it shouldn't be that hard to get the contours right. And then tou can attach them any way you want!

yes, i have covers on front and back, the front ones have clips that adhere to the inner sides of the headlight housing, and yes, the back ones are velcro, but it's not your average velcro, it's more like strips of a bunch of small snaps, it's really heavy duty and strong, i had a hell of a time removing them from the tail lights, as for the brand, they're GTS, and where I got em....well...they were already one the car when i bought it in 97, but you can get shit like that at any autoparts store.

unfortunately i can't take the licence plate off coz i have already gotten 2 tickets from doing that before. I don't know if you guys in the U.S. are allowed to drive with just the rear plates on. I wish i could, but unfortunately i can't. AS for the stripes, yeah they're gray. they're only stick on decals right now, i'm gonna get them done in silver around march.

the front plate thing is pretty much standard across the states. i got a ticket for it but it got dropped cause i told the judge i put the plate back on...ofcourse then i took it right off again. i think that the car looks so much better without

Yeah, but the tough thing is, I've gotten used to my front looking nice, but I'm actively searching for a job. KS doesn't do emissions testing either, so my exhaust is modded to where I wouldn't pass a sniffer test. If I move somewhere where they test emissions, and make me put a bracket back on the front, people are gonna get hurt, cause I like my car the way it is. The ole' SS will have headers and no cats, that I vow... :)

don't know if its legal but i saw a porsche with a sticker instead of a license plate at its front. Had full license plate specifications and everything and it curved nicely around the body of the car. But like i said, dont know if its legal.
