I Have A 91 Crx Hf Converted To Si. What Do You Guys Think It Will Run This Spring At The Track? I Race At Pacific Raceways In Kent ,washington With A Nova ,but This Year I Want To Run The Crx For Fun Too. Here A List Of What Ive Done To It.

I Think Thats It For Mods, Basically Car Is Sound And True Beside Trying To Do This With A Wierd Combo Like This Is Different. I Hope To See At Least Low 15's Maybe Even 14's Out Of This Setup .ive Raced A Nova For Years And Its Fast [10.20@130's]with My Dad As A Team. But All My Buudys Are Into Hondas As So Im I Too. So I Just Wanted Some Guestimates On What This Setup Will Do?what Should I Chhange Or Improve?any Other Mod Hints Will Be Great!! Thanks For Your Time To Read All This. Thanks!!!

108 octane...lmao there goes your fuel injecters and maybe fuel rail plan on keeping those stock..have fun...108 octane on that worthless, wont help but give you a tow truck at the end of the track

what are you smoking? high octane fuel isnt MORE combustable or anything, it just helps with pinging in high compression applications (boost is also considered a high compression application). octane is a fuel's resistance to knock or ping. there is no way that running high octane fuel will mess up the engine.

108 octane is for HIGH compression engines, not practically stock 4 bangers w/ 10.0:1. The fuel wont get burnt properly, therefore its useless - it does smell good. You could run 90% nitro meth. & 10% methanol, it still aint gonna make your car any faster.
My cylinder head is worked - milled, p/p, 3angle - along with other work & it runs perfectly fine on 89 octane.

If he wants to spend his money on high octane then let him, but it's not going to hurt anything... and definetly won't "melt" his injectors :rolleyes:
That HF tranny is going to be your limiting factor IMO, you'll be coming through the traps in 2nd gear most likely around the high 15/low 16 mark probably.
