Anyone have any advice on where to purchase new lug nuts? Napa, Autozone, Dealer? Any ideas on cost?
Lets pretend the impact wrench spun a few of the metal covers off of the nuts while I was putting on new rotors and pads.

If you want the BEST alternative, go to the local Chrysler dealership and buy a set for the Sebring. They fit the LS and are 1-piece forged and chromed. Very nice.
Otherwise, you should go to the Lincoln dealer and get them. They revised the design last year because of that problem, so you should be OK with your replacements.

I'll 2nd that, the factory lugs are junk, at least for the early year LS's.
The Chrysler Sebring lugs are a very nice upgrade, and won't leave you stranded when you can't get the OEM lugs off when you're on the side of the road.

Which dealer - Ford, or Chrysler?
They're only about $2.50/lug from Chrysler.
Not sure about the 'upgraded' lug from Ford, I replaced mine this summer with the Chrysler lugs when I had problems with the OEM lugs, because that was the recomendation from the guys on LLSOC.
You can always throw another dealers (www.fordpartsnetwork.com) price in your local dealers face and give them an ultimatum - match their price or I buy from the other guy.
Works for me all the time :).

I have the same problem with my 2000 LS lugs. If I buy a set from Chrysler, what year Sebring lugs should I get, or are they all the same?
Thanks for your help.

IIRC, the part number ends in 90, and it's for use on the Sebring Convertible only, where the lugs aren't covered by a centercap.
Also a good indication is the price - the Sebring coupe/sedan lugs won't be all that much as they are a simple design.

Is the part number MB579290? The dealer could only look it up if he had a VIN of Sebring, and I didn't know one to tell him.
