1995 engine questions

I have a "W" series 4.3L Vortec engine in my 1995 blazer....i was wondering what the difference was between the 1995 engines and 1996 ones...why cant you get a s/c (or what not) for a 95? im my GM books..it says my engine has..."a central multi-port fuel injection (CMFI) system." would this be the same as CPI? i may have more questions later....IF someone could please help me out i would be very grateful...thnx

Yes CPI is the same as Central Port Fuel Injection...
I just ordered one for my 1993 4.3 Wseries...
As, in the 8th digit of the VIN # is a W...
