Hey guys, been working on this for a little while, progress has been slow though..... :banghead:
Started with the AMT Z28 kit, fitted a Revell 350 (better detail) motor, modified Revell extractors, from the 69 Camaro, custom exhaust chrome painted, fuel line fitted. I've foiled all the chrome trim, still need to finish the headlight buckets. Paint is Tam. TS16 yellow and will be getting stripes from Keith Marks, which arrived the other day. :smokin:
Hope you enjoy,.....feedback welcome
cheers stump :aus:

Man, I'm jealous. Your 70 1/2 has the Z28 spoiler instead of the RS spoiler in the AMT Z28 kit.
You have to buy the frickin' Baldwin Motion kit to get the Z28 spoiler, and then the Baldwin Motion car looks ungodly ridiculous without the Z28 spoiler.
Argh.
Well, anyhoo, it looks really good. Well detailed muscle models are kind of uncommon around here.

Thanks guys...
tonio....yeah, I just stuffed the stripes putting them on :banghead:
looks like I'll be painting them on.......... :disappoin
CamaroSSboy346.... wheels are to be Z28, rear ones widened slightly to take wider tyres :smokin:
Layla's Keeper....yeah, I grabbed an xtra BM Camaro specially for the rear spoiler, the dickie little one susked !!!! The sidepipes will also come in handy on another project (more on that later)
This is my 3rd 70 1/2, plus the other spares kit, it will be a full Pro-Streeter I think....... :evillol: :evillol:
thanks guys, more soon...

Cool Camaro! Any tips on how you did the gauge panel?

Hey everyone, she's getting closer. Had a trial fit last night, things seem as they should.
Honoturtle,yep......I cheated. I have a P/E set from MCG,nice stuff !!!
The gauge panel is part of it and the gauges are represented on a small sheet of plastic (printed on it).You paint the back of it in white and the gauges show up like so.....it's amazing how fine the detail is

Just a little update, after stuffing up the nice decals I had from Keith Marks, I used the trunk stripes from a 69 Z28. They are close, if you don't look too hard... :disappoin
Anyway, got a few shots of clear on this arvo, still needs to be rubbed out. I'll give it a couple of days..

Looks like another awesome build, Stumpie. Looking at what you've built in the past, it looks like you'd be interested in my secret project. I could use a little help, so expect a PM.

Thanks guys, she's almost done..........
Got the chassis fitted, head/tail lights are in, just need to add the Z28 scripts from MCG set. Got her all polished up now, looks pretty good I think. Oh, I opened up the grill an' fitted fine mesh (insect screen) then painted it chrome with Duplicolor..
Here's the pics......

Thanks for the kind words guys.
Bloodhound, yeah,it does, but I think it looks better with the radiator installed now.. I'll get back to you shortly 'bout your project...
Been xperimenting with my cheap camera, could never get a good close shot, always blurry.... so,I put a cheap magnifying lens in front of my camera.Kinda works OK.Still sortin' distances though...
