i put 2 gal. of diesel gas on an empty tank then realized what i had done and filled up the rest of the way with unleaded what if any damage can i expect the car is a 97 mazda protoge

That coboy guys right your screwed. Desil and I cant spell it, is a dirty and unrefined form of regular gas if you didn't know, its made to burn at higher pressures and temps. first if you ran with it in there despite the other 8-9 gallons( or whatever) of unleaded you just completly roasted you entire fuel system, the fuel line, the pump, filter, injectors, tank, even mabey your cylinders and what ever else is conneted with fuel dilervery. You may not notice it now but you car will slowly become desrepid and begin to break down for no reason, I don't know how long. But I wasn't so stupid as to turn the car on I had it towed to my dealer and had my tank pumped, sucktioned and cleaned cost me $187 but you cost will be much more
