hey I finally got an engine due mainly to funding reasons i got the rb20det could anyone help me out with the install?
would there be any sites out there that would tell me what i need to know, like heavythrottle/srswap does for the SR series?
what kind of fuel pump should i use during the swap?
what stock 240 parts can be used?
what parts would i need that couldn't be harvested from the clip(i haven't recieved it yet but the order was just sent a couple of days ago)?
I got a '93 240sx fastback that is being used for the swap.

Also would anyone know what to do to get a front mount intercooler installed and working, like what would i have to do.

The answers to your questions are included in the FAQs of www.night7racing.com and www.unstable-hybrids.com.

Fuel pump- Walbro 255lph is a good choice (you can find it at night7racing for a kilelr deal)

Clutch, oil filter, spark plugs, ignition coil- All good things to replace when you do a swap. All of those interchange with a 300zx non turbo (z32 model i believe).

Motor mounts- Unstable Hybrids will sell you some mounts for 500$ that move the engine down and closer to the firewall so you have a better shifter location and better clearance for power cooling fans.

Surge Tank/Intake Manifold- The stock RB20 manifold is ugly, restrictive, makes it really hard to integrate a FMIC, and takes about 3 hours before you ever see a sparkplug during a change. Unstable Hybrids will cus-fab you one for about $400, and Greddy/Trust sells them for about $600-800.

www.raretrick.com will sell you a few things that will fit onto the S13 like exhaust, body kits, suspension. They don't seem to offer much for the non GT-R RB series though. JUN (www.junauto.co.jp) makes a things for the RB20.

The stock KA crossmember won't fit, you will need the skyline one or to have a shop fabricate you one.

Not too sure about the fans thing, but I'm pretty sure that most of them are close to the same quality. You get what you pay for.

With intercoolers, it will depend on what you're going to do with your engine. If you're going to keep the stock turbo, then you won't need a large intercooler. If you go too big, then it will increase lag alot. Just keep it proportional to how much boost you're going to be running. I prefer Greddy/Trust intercoolers, but many many other companies offer high quality kits and units. As you might have seen at night7racing, he offers a custom piping kit that perfectly mates up to the RB swap.

Cameron At Night7 Has A Mount Kit For $350 Now. All The Custom Mount Kits Require The Use Of The S13 Crossmember. I Tried To Answer Most Of You Questions In My Pm Reply.

As For The Comment About 3 Hours Before Seeing Sparkplugs, Its Untrue Its Takes About 20mins To Remove The Plug Cover And Coil Packs.

The Stock Intake Plenum Will Handle Over 450hp So Its Good Enough For A While. Aftermarket Ones Seem To Always Lean Out Certain Cylinders Because Of Their Design.

Not arguing or anything, since you're the one who actually has the RB20. But unstable-hybrids was saying that the stock manifold makes it a pain in the ass to change the plugs, and to make a FMIC fit. Thats where I got this info, but again, if you're the one with the Rb20 then I'll take your word for it.

Actually, If You Were To Remove Everything It Would Take You A Good 1.5 - 2 Hours, But If You Just Remove The Spark Plug Cover Without Touching Anything Else And You Can Get To The Plugs Without A Problem In 20mins Or Less.
