89 caravan same problem

I have an 89 caravan and it sounds like my problem. For 3 months now it stalls quietly, no cough, no hesitation and kills. It always turnsover but sometimes starts immediately, other times I have to wait 5 minutes, and sometimes takes longer. Sometimes it happens 3 times withing 8 blocks, sometimes I can go for days without it killing out.

I haven't changed the ignitor, I didn't know it had one. Thanks for the tip. If this works you've made my Christmas!

Try checking codes Nannerman! Do this with key switch.Turn it to the "on" postistion three times back and forth till the dash lights come on then leave it on "ON" forth time.Check engine light should flash.Count times and post back
