I'm doing the same. but going for a more, jdm style, the black valve cover, white wheels, mid blue paint, something inspired by a jdm itr.

I also planned for a black hood and trunk&type r wing to simulate CF. Were you planning for any motor mods?

I find it interesting that import rodders add height to their cars, while traditional rodders tried to take height out.

Like a guy here in Cleveland who's a member of the Choppers Hot Rod Club has a candy red 1950 Ford that he sectioned by about 5 inches. It's only a little taller than a original Mini Cooper now. The thing's license plate reads "Whacked".

I also need a little help with the motor since its comming from the raybrig nsx kit and I need to know what parts C10, C2, and A23 are and if they need to be modified for a "street engine".

C10 is an engine brace, to keep the engine from twisting due to the torque of acceleration, and instead put all that power to the wheels. This you probably won't need for a car like an Integra, and even if you did it would have to be extensively modified. I would instead use a small, sprung one (like a small coilover) between one of the valve covers and the wheel well.

C2 are fluid reservoirs. You can reuse these, but they would be placed elsewhere.

I'm not sure what A23 is, probably some sort of electronic control from what I can tell.

If you are making it RWD, you might consider also modifying the transmission, but if you are doing a FWD with longitudally mounted motor, you're fine.

Thanks guys. Wilmo I'm going to make it a RWD what do I have to change on the transmition?

Thanks guys. Wilmo I'm going to make it a RWD what do I have to change on the transmition?

Do you want an honest answer? I'd, erm, cut it completely off. If you notice, the tranny on the NSX engine has a place for two driveshafts, one going to the left and one to the right (just like the stock Integra motor.) The real problem with this is that the output is way off center from the center of the motor, they stick out to one side of the block instead of through the centerline (where the crank would go). You are putting the engine in the typical V-6/V-8 orientation, right?

You have a few options:
1. Cut the entire transmission off (this may be difficult, I don't recall, though I did do it for my S2000 V6) and replace it with a transmission from some domestic car, since they are plentyful and of the right shape.

2. Modify the existing one. Cut off the stock attachement to the driveshafts from the engine. Attach the driveshaft to the "pointy" end of the stock transmission. Less convincing, but a lot easier.

3. Fake it. Just stick the motor in and don't worry about it. I'd find this unacceptable, but it is an option.

wow...dammit i've been working on an NSX powered integra also been working on it for awhile now though and using the same engine...been off and on with the project because theres so much fabricating that im doing for it.

Now I know what everyone is thinking Hmmmm why could there be a large gaping hole in the hood? Well its not for a sunroof, instead I'm grafting the scoops off of the NSX. What do you think? O and the hosing got messed up again so you can see all the other progress pics here http://public.fotki.com/speedstur/integraty/
