I want to put a turbo on my 98 Accord, 60K Miles, stock internals, F23A1 (engine code) with about 8 psi boost from FMAX. I do not want to swap engine.

Anybody's done it? Are you satisfy with results?
Is the stock engine strong enough to support 75-100 WHP?

Youre engine should take 8 psi as long as you tune it right....keep it plenty rich throughout the powerband. But anything higher than 10 or so and you should begin looking for rods, pistons, ect...

I think youre talking about 75-100 ADDITIONAL whp...after you get your turbo setup done right, you can think (correct me if im wrong) 10 hp per psi...you do the math.

if this is ur daily driver car about 7psi should be fine u can bump it up to 8 on the track. register on board.hondasociety.com alotta guys there have turbocharged F23's. alot of them have the F-Max kit. and got them runnin at 7 to 8 psi on stock internals. if i remember correctly one of them made at least 260 out of the kit.

Thanks for the info guys, but I will let you know because I am putting a FMAX kit on my Accord 98 (F23A1). I will let you know how good the kit is and how much boost it best to use. 7,8,9,or 10 psi.
