CD player help needed.

I have a 99 toyota tacoma that came without a cd player, so I purchased one to install myself. I tested it before it did the final installation, and it worked just fine. But when I screwed it in, and turned it on, it would not work. I have tried everything that my friends and I can think of, and it still will not work. The factory radio no longer works either. I do not know how it relates, but the clock no longer works. If anybody can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

check for a blown fuse... Or it could be loose wires. How are those connected?

I found two fuse boxes, and checked both of those already, and the connections look alright, but I will check those again. Is there a third fuse box somewhere?

There is a fuse I think in the headunit itself, could be wrong

you blew a fuse somewhere ... keep looking - some cars have fuses in the engine bat too
