batteries

I dont know much about batteries so here are some questions.

-i have an old Mega Tech Juice Box quick charger and on the side there is a chart which displays the size of a 7.2 battery and how long it takes (1500=24mins). Can this battery charge batteries with a rating of say...3000?

-If my charger doesnt work for bigger batteries, i would like to get a new one. i want to know whats a good quick charger that can handle bigger bats and that has a cut off options when a bat is fully charged.

I pretty much just want more run time for my slightly modified Tamiya XB Lightning. Please get back to me

Um, if the charger is old, like pre 2000, i seriously doubt it could handle any kind of Ni-MH safelyhow much would you like to spend on a charger, the superbrain 959 from MRC is very good and is about $50 retail. There are more choices if you want more choices, let me know, but if your on a bugdet, you cant get better then the 959, i have one and i have no troubles with it.

My budget is no more then 80 (canadian) i dont want to be spending more for my accessories, then i spent for my truck.

The 959 ( i think its the 959, lol) is teh best peak charger for the money. Like i said before, i seriously doubt that charger could handle any kind of NI-MH without destroying them. If you can, there is a R/C show in toledo in i think april, and they have some amazing deals on batteries, electornics, and well, everything. If you can, i would sugest waiting and going there to get your acessories, as they will be cheaper. If you want a poeak charger though, and you have $80 total, that will be enough for the charger and for a decent 3000 battery pack.
