Speedometer gear

Does anyone know how to take out the speedometer gear in the transmission. I'm nearing 36,000k on my 2003 with a 4 cyl. 5 speed manual and I need to save the warranty!

Up near the engine and tranny connect on passenger side there is a gray 3 wire plug and you can unplug,but your check engine lite will come on after 10 or so miles and you have to pop the hood go to fuse bock near engine (drivers side and pull the yellow 20 amp fuse (e ? something ) will the ingnition is on pull fuse and wait about 10 sec and reinstall and the lite will go out again but you will have to repeat procedure everytime the lite comes back on >Hope this helps :nono:
