Only the middle two pictures are with my phone, the first and last are with my old 1.3mp camera.
I dunno whats up with the dress up master deal, but I mean its Tein, so Im not too concerned with whats on the box, whats more important to me is the quality inside the box

I think that's just a name they use since most people just use that kit mostly for looks. Of course it will help the handling, but you know people and their fancy cars. They want it low for looks, not really for handling benefits. Holler

Oh yeah, she was very pleased to come home and see that. My dad was actually quite a bit more unhappy though, he made me move all the shit into the garage the minute he got home.
Everything is goin on tomorrow morning though, got my garage all set up with the air compressor, impact wrench, spring compressor, and jack/jackstands.

Im PLANNING to boost it this summer. I want to find a slightly used Apexi kit, but Im thinking Ill just end up getting the Greddy. Im not really looking for anything super crazy fast, Id probably be satisfied with 180-200whp, I dont feel like building the motor, or having things like the tranny go prematurely. Ill probably stay below 8 psi if I do get the kit. Im only a sophomore in HS, had my license almost a year, already on my second car too  but we wont get into that. Im not in too big of a rush to do all this stuff (turbo), but I have the money, and my parents are ok with it, so I dont see why I shouldnt. Ive started the process of learning about forced induction more in depthly, so I can make a good decision about what to get based on my goals, restrictions etc.

Can the D series go past 8psi? I thought they were only safe at 6psi.

I've heard of 9-10psi with proper tuning. With excelent tuning anything is possible.

Nah, I know people who run 10psi daily and 12-16 psi at the track just fine, no problems. Its all about fuel management and tuning.

nice choice for rims...more pics when you get it all installed
D[x]P: Nice Golf in your sig
10 does sound really high, I wouldn't boost more than 7-8 psi on a stock D series motor. The connecting rods in those motors are like pencil thick.

Well guys, the install didnt go to great. Everything was going great, got the strut assembly off in a snap, like 5 mins, compressed the springs, things were looking good. Then, I tried to get that top bolt on the assembly. Fuckin thing wouldnt budge. We tried everything, no look, so we just took it in and a shop is installing the springs tomorrow. I got the rims on though, they look pretty sick, car looks like a fawkin 4x4 though cus of the massive fender gap.
