eh... inbreeding, no... crossbreeding, YES. oh well, at least they didn't change nationalities too, then the extreemists would really be upset. but imho: if you're gonna change engines at least change within the same company.

not that i wouldn't drive it! :naughty:

I want a LS1 in my lawnmower... wonder if those guys can help.

My lawnmower isn't even a riding mower, have to push it.. but I figure I can cut the grass much faster.

Well, based on GTStang's sig, this guy must have taken the sig to heart. He must have felt like, "If you can't beat'em, join'em..."

It's not uncommon to put Chevy motors in Fords. Go to a car show with a bunch of old Ford 40's-50's hot rods, you'll probably see a couple of them with Chevy 350's.

What is uncommon though is Mustangs with F-body motors

One positive outcome of this though. An LS1 in a Mustang will be extremely easy to work on when it breaks, because the motor is actually in the engine bay and not under the most of the cowl. Seriously, that motor looks small in that car.

Unlike the old hot rods that are restored with Chevy motors cause it makes economical sense. This is kinda dumb to me to be honest... much better solutions to go faster than this.... B for being different cause the RX-7 with the LS1 still is #1.

W3rd HiFLow.... I want to work on that thing just so I can actually see the mythical 8th spark plug on the LS1's.

GTstang you need to add one more line to your sig
