rsx type s vs GSR

just wonderin if i would stand a chance against a type S . I can never get one to race me , same with the new SI civics . anyways my only mods are ...... injen cai , injen ex.

i have a 95 civ hb vx/b18c1 i-h-e jg edelbrock im stage 3 6 puk clutch w/ 8.8lbs flywheel and hondata es200 and ive raced both from a roll(10) to downshifting from60 and the gsr seamed quite a bit faster from 0 to 50 and i beat it by 4 cars by 90. the rsx-type s seamed week from 15 to about 60 then we jumped on the freeway he slowed down to 60 and i tried to get him to slow down a little more cause 60 is right where i have to shift to 3 and wouldnt quite be in v-tec yet. so we downshifted and we were the exact same speed from about 4500 to 6500 and from 6500 to 8500 i got a little more than a have car, we shut it down at 110 and i beat him by 2 cars. but ya type-s is ALOT better top speed than gsr.
and ya they were both stock.

i would'nt even bother talking about the new civic SI's (so dissapointing). my friend bought one and i am even with him in my 91 teg.

Yes the new Si is a bit of an embarrassment but the engine has some serious potential! The RSX type-s is quite a ride and I believe to be evenly matched with a newer GSR. The gear is better in the RSX due to its lovely 6 sixth speed.

it's all in the driver.. my friend nearly beat my other friends gsr (i/h/e) in a stock 03 Si.. i personally think Si's are like mustangs.. cheap and a slow wanna be sports car...
RSX are over-rated.. it can beat a gsr but it really isnt all that impressive by how much... my friends Type S is pretty slow on the start.. i can stick with him in my 94 vtec accord.. after 50 the higher rpm range the rsx has is what kills me.. if you can drive i expect two car or less
