Exactly what I was looking for. Now I am a bit confused with the following statement though.
"From Level 10's website, they have this product called a"High Performance "Billet" Torque Converters." What it does is basically allow the amount of power that you have to be transfered safely from the car to the wheels. Get it? Torque Converter. If you're SuperCharged or NOSed, having a torque converter might kick off 1 whole second off your quarter mile times. Think of it as a "clutch" for your auto. Although the price tag is close to $700, this might be better than a $2500 tranny failure. Level 10 also offers strengthened trannys with rebuilt parts that were modified to take on stronger loads from hard accelerations and/or boost."
They speak as if "adding" one is a good thing, but from the document I just read all auto's need them... And would any increase in performance come out of replacing the current one in the Maxima SE '02 with a "High Performance Billet Torque Converter.

The only thing changing to a different torque converter will do is raise your stall speed, basically they are only good for off the line launches, like when your running the 1/4 mile, they don't help any once you get going, and if you get too high a stall speed, they can decrease streetability, and you may just spin the tires off the line. :D

okay.....that "how stuff works" website is just gay...! ! !...
.....it says confuses it self by saying the wrong thing of what it's
trying to proof....eg: trying to proof 1 2 3
it says 3 2 1
get it?...read it and u'll be surprised
