AWESOME interior and body color. I don't always get excited abou Civic?teg type projects, but this one is very simple, clean and effective! Top notch job on the itnerior and color combos!

looks good. but if you've seen shorty's thread on his 180sx, you'd know, you're kinda wasting your time with the cage like that. it's rear support bars should be closer to the rear strut towers. it looks good, and simple. nice color for the car, any possibility of a intercooler in the factory mouth?

Hmm I don't think any part of it was a waist of my time. I ty not to copy other peoples work!! If I did what everyone else did all our cars would look the same and this forum would be quite boring .. No there there won't be a intercooler in this one but I am going to do the ther version of this kit with a full motor swap, under hood detail with a full turbo kit..

Thanks for the comments..

ehh, well, I'm not saying it looks like any ones. I'm just saying that where the rear support bars are, they're in a sort of useless position.

peace guys.. break it up.. There is a big line between realistic "replicas" and just models we create for the fun of it...

I hope no one makes fun of my new project... 360 Modena pick-up low rider with 13 inch daytons and gold pinstrips and murals...

It's cool SLK. I thought he was going for realism when he said something about the car being a racer. So, no big deal, it's cool with me.

SLK, I already think the idea of a 360 truck would be cool, but the bed needs to be in the front.

Looks nice. I like the green on there, and I like the rims too. Keep us posted on how the build goes.

I was going to say something about how street prepared cars in the SCCA require a fully padded seat on the passenger side. But I won't. Are those wheels from the S2000 or are they the Pegasus ones? Very nice project, great work on the interior. This is going to be killer, I hope my full motored one ends up as well as yours no doubt will.

Here is the engine swap I am going to put in this I got a Scale Speed Works Turbo kit for it .. Not to impressed with the turbo kit I spent 4 hrs cleaning it up and it still needs another couple hrs work on it.. Inetcooler piping is awful and the turbo looks way to small.. I think I am going to redo the Intercooler piping with larger guage solder ...

Here is a picture "This is not a finish product just wanted to see what it looked like "

Thanx for all the comments

nice. what size did you use for the intercooler piping? I've used some 7/32'' styrene rod for mine, it looks pretty good. I believe my turbo measures out to about 3'' on the compressor and 2.5'' on the turbine.

Awesome Civic. Did your A-pillars crack?

JDM4LiFe
01-19-2004, 01:58 AM
Yes they did and the b pillars too I was polishing the body and snap all four broke..Endless Hobbys sent me out a new body for free ..Endless hobbys is an awsome place to do buisness with I prolly won't do buisness with anyone else for kits ... http://www.endlesshobbies.com

I also redid the roll cage while waiting for the new body to come in ..

http://www.wickedwerx.com/lance/newcage1.gif
Just have to do a lil clean up where the old cage was..

I also publicly apoligize for being a dick to 86 sr5 in the previouse replys I was not having a great day that day .. So I am sorry ...

that's no probelm buddy. we all have bad days. the cage looks much better now that you've shortened the rear supports. I know how much of a bitch it is to build them. I went through 5 builds and desgins for my street/drag turbo type R before I got it just right.
