95 dash clock

hey, i just got my car back from the shop to see that my dash clock wont work. there is no light, and i assume its not functioning. the shop had disconnected the battery terminals. i checked the fuses and they are all good. anyone know what could be the problem? can the lighbulb burn out to light the clock, or is it probable? also, how do i remove it from the dash pod to see whats going on, or to replace it? thanks.
