Retiring a Silhouette

I have a 1999 Silhouette that needs new tires. The Generals that came with the vehicle were noisy and seemed to be very slippery. I have checked a few local dealers and each says there tires are the best. I have checked a few other van owners and have elliminated Uniroyal and Yokohama brands. Does anyone own a Silo that has found a good traction, quiet tire as a replacement? I need an all condition tire, snow rain sunshine, lot of highway and trailer pulling, and an aggressive driving habit. Thanks for any help.

I would look at the Bridgestone Turanza LS-T or the Yokohama Avid Touring in the stock tire size. Both of those will be a much better tire for noise and traction. You can see reviews on all of these tires here:

I've had Bridgestones on my Ford 150 pickups and they wore pretty good but were very noisy. And the traction wasn't that good. I guess I will give the Yokohamas a spin and hope they do better then the Generals.
