Intake Installation 90 accord

I installed my intake but not really sure if i did it right. My engine runs fine... no rough idle or anything but im just trying to make sure because i never really had the experience installing an intake yet anything at all. It is a fusion intake that came with piping, filter, 2 hoses, a braket and a serperate clamp that wasnt connected to the piping.

Here is what i did... tell me if im wrong, which i kno i am.
-Installed the filter (had a clamp on it) to the piping
-Installed the piping (Which had a clamp holding the rubber to the piping going to the throttle)
-Use the xtra clamp to secure the throttle part (2 clamps in this area. One securing the rubber to the piping and one securing the rubber to the throttle.
-Connected a hose from the valve cover to the intake.
-Hooked back all the stock hoses to where they belong.

*I have the braket left over and an xtra hose left over cuz im not sure where they are suppose to go.
*I zip tied part of the intake so it will stay stationary.

~My question is where does the xtra hose connect to and where does the braket connect to?

Well i am installing a FUSION short ram and not an AEM CAI if i didnt mention it earlier. It came with 2 hoses and i used one to hook up to the intake and the valve cover. In this demo it looked like they used all the stock hoses which is fine for me cuz all the hoses are all hooked up and car runs smooth. Except i have the stock hose that i replaced connecting the intake and the valve cover left over and it is connected to some kind of hose connecting to some radiator piping to something on the bottom of the intake manifold. Dont kno whether i should chop it off or leave cuz it is still there doing nothing in my engine carpartment.

also what is the braket for that i have left over and where does that go?

thanx for helping me man

braket is to hold the filter in place...kinda dumb if u ask me.

is there any way u can post a picture at all...or draw a diagram in the program paint??

wait what year accord do you have???

so u have connected the lines from the intake, and the valve cover but u have another extra one? now do this, is there another hole in the new intake pipe to put it?? if not then u dont need it its extra.

sorry lost the cable to the digital cam so cant post a pic. There is another hole for the intake pipe but the hose doesnt fit cuz it is too big and the hole it too small so i used the stock pipe and it fit perfectly. My engine seems to be running fine... for now so unless it is something terribly wrong that will happen in the future then ill try change it. Main thing is that i dont even know where that bracket even connects to or hooks up too. I used a zip tie to hold the intake in place so it wont move around too much and hit my distributor wire out or anything like that. by the way my accord is a 90 ex

bracket is just to hold it in place. i dotn see many 4th gens use it, for other cars tehy use it.

i still dont know about that hose...perhaps paint a pic if u want me to try and find out. i know there is one from teh valve cover into the intake. i know that for sure...the other one is a little vacumn hose that u are supposed to leave alone. but if u have another hole then u might of gotten a 5th gen intake. iono =)

Hey u have the same gen as me right? I think that the xtra hose is suppose to connect to someplace under the throttle to some pipe near the block where the radiator hose goes to. On my car the pipe im talking about is connected to the one that connects the intake and the valve cover.

Also (off topic) do u know if a neuspeed header for a 96 non-vtec accord can fit on a 90 accord ex? 96-f22b1, 90-f22a4. I was thinking it will since it is almost exactly the same engine. I was thinking about buying one from someone for like $100 or so and putting it on my car but not really sure if it will be an exact fit.

I kno the help is above and beyond but i just wanna thank u for helping me.
