Removing sleeves from stock JDM H22a?

My friend is getting sleeves and pistons put into his h22a (not the type-s). And he'd not sure how the machine shop he took it to; is going to get the sleeves already in there. So I was hoping that someone here could tell me how they'll do it (heat the block and pull them out or bore them out...)? Any information on this is greatly appreciated.
