After 2 months of fiddiling with the body mods, this beauty has finally finished! Im impressed with the final results, although i still got heaps to learn with paint polishing and masking.

Here is a list of what i have done to it.
Custom frontmount intercooler
Custom bodykit, front, side and rear
Custom 4 pt harness
Custom half cage
Custom Exhaust

The fujimi's kit detail/quality is not that great, the windows seems to be foggy due to bad quality... both the front headlamp and rear lamps didn't fit perfectly.... :nono: oh well, Im still impressed though. :p

Nice work, those wheels really suit it, you could probaly polish the windows to get them clear again, would make it look real nice

Hi guys, thanks for the kind complements.

Yes I understand the wheels may be a little bit too big for the car... I was going to use 17" but i stuffed up the deepdish treatment. Over here in New Zealand, we are very limited on resources... We can't get any flash looking rims like u guys can get....therefore we have to use what we have got.... Oh and we can't get any carbon fibre decals too....which is a shame...

Richard, Do you know how to customise own decals...?

Next project now going... Old School Skyline GTR2000 KPGC10, with engine bay details...

Wow, that is a very cool looking car!!

I agree on the height of the wheels comments, as the car looks very tall. Also, you can see quite a bit of daylight beneath the front fenders which distracts from the quality of the body kit.

It's a well built car, and I like the subject, but its certainly got some questionable aesthetics.

I can't wait, though, to see the Hakosuka you'll be building. Fujimi or Tamiya kit?

Thanks for all the comments.

The wheel issue will be taken into consideration when building the KPGC10, since the standard wheels are steel wheels... not even mags...

All comments are apreciated for a better build in the future! Thanks very much!

Layla's Keeper> the Kpgc10 is a Tamiya kit, very detailed both engine and suspension works...

At this stage, I haven't really done much to it, but I will start up a new thread when I have more time off work...!

Andy: i know that there are some custom decal kit that allows you to print your graphic using injket paper and it also somes with it's special protective coating..etc so you can paint clearcoat on top on it. But i haven't try it myself so maybe someone else can give you some comments? I think Acorn models was selling it but not very sure.. oh btw, I remember there are some c/f decals at acron models as well. and some kelvar pattern one.. otherwise you can always order it from Chris:
Scale Auto Style
http://www.scaleautostyle.com

I'm using his C/F decal and they are very good!

btw, maybe you can try order wheels from websites like www.hlj.com (http://www.hlj.com) www.1999.co.jp (http://www.1999.co.jp) ? much cheaper and a larger collection!

Looks good. Nice work, but the bumper and rims just don't fit my style. Great build though.
