i was planning on getting an EVO III manifold and i was wondering if the 20g would bolt on to that. i was reading somewhere that for the big 16g it was nessicary to port the manifold or buy an evo manifold, is that true for the 20g? also if i got a o2 eliminating downpipe would that bolt on as well or would i need to make more mods? or perhaps i should just port the o2 housing and get a standard 3" downpipe? do you have any brands and such that you could suggest for what i'm doing?

you could put the evo manifold on the 20g. About the o2 housing you can either port yours out or get the ss o2 housing and put the 3" dp on it. Good luck with your decisons.

The major difference between the 2g and EVO maifold (1g is the crappies of the 3) is that the outlet is bigger. So to port the manifold to a 7cm gasket is much easier and faster on the EVO manifold. If you 20g is going to be ported to a 7cm gasket (almost all are, or the buyer pays for it) then naturally it makes sense to match the manifold to that.
And like matt said, either port yours or buy an aftermarket one. Any aftermarket O2 housing setup for the mitsu turbine housing will bolt on, wether its a regular one or an "o2 eliminator" downpipe, etc. I still use a TRE ported 2g O2 housing. The most important thing to consider is porting the internal WG exit area (per the vfaq) and then port matching the O2 housing to that, to prevent boost creep. Unless you are going with an external (which I would recomend) on the manifold, or on the O2 housing.
