i would put something along the lines of smooth, subtle flares and wide wheels to give a fat look. no spolier and no body mods, except maybe a bit on the front. but thats just my 2 cents

Wouldn't touch it. Build it out of the box. The E36 M3 is the bomb stock, doesn't need no fattening. And no freaking spoiler!

Maybe tint the windows, especially if you do it in Dakar yellow.

You could order Quick Skins resin kit of the M3 GT-R for the custom bodywork. It's made for the Dragon kit, and the M3 GT-R is a killer looking car. Bburago's diecast M3 GT-R looks pretty good too. The Dragon M3 looks a bit narrow and the B pillar is not molded to the body, making the car look a little strange from some angles...the Bburago body looks more correct, even has engine detail. Ditching the horrendous/small wheels and fitting better ones is an instant improvement.

I wouldn't mess with it. The M3 is already a really hot car. Just build it stock. There are quite a few BMW fans here on the boards, and I'm sure they'd all like to see it stock, rather than ricey. Maybe paint it Avus blue, or Estoril. Thats just the way I see it.

How much did you pay for it? I could have had one for $30 CDN ($25 USD). Didn't know what they were worth, though.

Strada Sports (http://www.stradasports.com/quik_skins.htm)

I know Kevin the owner, he's a good guy to deal with.

You can also get 'em from Island Collectibles.
