I need help with purchasing new rims. I got a 1994 Chevy Camaro. The current stock wheel specs are 16 x 8, 6.875 back spacing and a 5 / 4.75 bolt pattern. I found wheels I like, but the back spacing is a little lower. The wheels say they fit my car, but the back spacing is 6 1/8. What exactly is back spacing? Will this look good/normal? The wheels I'm looking at are located here: http://www.wheelsforless.com/search_result.asp?Product_ID=ea779-68

you can get spacers to correct the backspacing.

Backspacing is another way to measure offset. In this case, it will push the wheels (and tires, assuming you're running the same size) out 0.75". As long as you have the clearance to the fender, you should be OK< but 0.75" is a pretty significant change.
