Hey! I'm new here, and I'm thinking about buying a bodykit, and I've been reading alot of the threads and it really made me realise that the aftermarket has it's fair share of parts that are cheap and low quality parts, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the mayn different brands of bodykit manufacturers, because this forum really opened up my eyes to be more aware of the quality of different brands. So can anyone please hlpe me? thanks

I'm happy with my Black Widow body kit and I also have a knock off of the R34 that I've been happy with. Some of the knock offs are actually good quality....

I bought a used octane r34 myself that i am very satisfied with. What kind are you looking to get?

Wings West makes knock offs too... and they're really good quality. It all depends on who the manufacturer is. First, find the style you want... then break it down to who makes them and if there is an original maker. From there, figure out which ones of the manufacturers make a better mold and have a better reputation.

Im thinking about getting an R33 front bumper, but I plan to mix and match different styles to give me the look that I want for my 95 Civic. But I just dont want to get a terrible quality part, because Ive heard too many horror stories. thanks :)

But basically, I just want a place where I know that I wont buy any parts that are terrible quality and something that wont be ridiculously over-priced.

Find exactly what you want first.. what style you want. Which side skirts, which front, rear, wing and so on...

From there.. then you'll try to find a manufacturer that has the best quality for that style. Retailers and manufacturers are alot like "rock, paper, scissors". Most of the time, you wont find all the quality parts from one place.. you might have to order from different places. For example, Erebuni has good quality kits... I would get a Mugen side skirts and rear... but I want a C-West front bumber and theirs SUCK really bad!!! So I would get the C-west bumper at JT. I hope that made sence to you.

Ok.. so far you want the R33 bumper. You should be asking "where can I find a good quality R33 bumper for my 5th gen civic?" Also you should specify what kind of R33 bumper.. maybe with a picture of a link. Theres a few bumpers for the civic that originated from the R33.

As for side skirts.. I would recomend you taking a look at the Bomex sideskirts for your car. If my memory serves me correctly, the sideskirts will look good with the OEM style R33 bumper.

I don't know how to post images, but I'm thinking R33 front, Black Widow Sideskirts, and MAYBE a BuddyClub rear. I'm not sure on the last one yet. thanks for your help though

I just saw a picture of the wings west revolver front bumper, an that looks really good to me. Does Wings West make quality bodykits?

yes wings west make some of the best body kits, the revolver kit is the same one i had on my old car. It was made out of eurothane instead of fiberglass which is definatly stronger and more flexable. I might put it on my new car or go with the black widow.

I had a 94 civic 2d before.

Wings West is very good.. they have awsome quality kits, great rep, and they've been around for a long long time.

If you like the Black Widow sideskirts, then get them for the original manufacturers... Ground Designs 2000. I forgot the website.. you can do a search, or look in my list of bodykit websites I posted as a sticky at the top of the forum.

Thanks for your help, but I have one more question lol I am still considering an R33 front bumper like this on the webpage:

http://www.rushkits.com/customer/product.php?productid=30143&cat=106&page=3

And I would like to know where I can get a great quality bumper of that style. Thanks for all your help! :)
