z24 swap

im just trying to see if anyone could give me some info on a swap of the 2.2 to the 2.4l for a 96 cav ive searched around and cant really come up with anything if anyone has a good link or some info on how to do this swap please let me know thanks

the engines are not the same so you need the computer from a z24 (should be under the glove box) and the wiring from the fire wall.that should do it but for me i would rebuild the 2.2 and find a trubo because the 2.4s are shit they blow the top end

I have a 2.3, which is basicly a 2.4 with a diff head, but they really aren't bad, just get one that has been rebuilt or a new one, that way you wont have to worry about head gasket or water pump issues for a while, or just replace them.
