well, i just started up the car to go to the store, and it made that sound again. push in the clutch, and i hear a grinding sound comming from under the hood, my friend said it sounds like the throw... bearing rubbing against the flywheel...hes the guy who owed two fieros, so im not really gonna listen. it didnt have power again, im thinking of taking it in to get checked out, but gots no cash, if its the bearing and flywheel, could be less than 50 to get it adjusted...let me know what you think is happening...and if you could an estimated cost

Most often, a grinding sound that occurs when the clutch is released is the throwout bearing. It should stop though oince the clutch is engaged again and should not result in any 'feel-able' powerloss, if any at all.

this fucking pisses me off, i just bought the car, as im sure you all know, and the kid before me had a brand new clutch put in, 15000 miles later, the pressure plate goes out, RIGHT AFTER HE SELLS IT. how in the fuck does that happen???? my old clutch in my old car lasted 230k and beyond. i cant really drive it cuz it doesnt go into gear, and every time i try to shift, even tho i have the clutch in all the way, it still grinds the gears...what a fucking piece of shit
