Hi,

New member here. I am looking at buying a high mileage (240,000) 1994 Jimmy. Other than the engine, what else should I be concerned about with this vehicle related to the mileage?

Thanks,

mjohn

high milage usually means the running gear will be worn...and you will get road noise...humming over 50mph When I buy a vehicle I usually let it run for 20-30 min...and see if it overheats or engine makes sounds when warmed up...If it is just a beater...and you need it for hauling or for 4 wheel drive...then you should be ok if the price is low...
all old vehicles need starter, alternator, battery, tires, exhaust, brakes...you know this...i'm sure Best Wishes...mjohn
