Never assume your brakes are fine!!!

Just a little while ago I was driving my 1991 Mercury Tracer done the road, and as I was going down a hill towards a red light I started to brake, and all you could hear from me was "f@$K"!!! My car would not stop. Keep in mind the light was red too and there was snow on the ground. I ended up doing a power slide through an intersection with my e-brake. You might be thinking who cares, but I was so close to a really bad accident. And the reason brakes weren't working was becuase the brake line exploded. I never thought of checking that kinda thing, I always check brakes and then the one thing no one thinks about breaks. So keep an eye out for those break lines. Wouldn't want to see a fellow Escort/Tracer driver sitting on the side of the road with there wrecked baby!!!

Oh yeah, and never under estimate the tracer!! It'll smoke an Escort Lx anytime!!
