Door Sensors?

Anyone know where they are for
each door and the hatch back.

Whenever I drive the stupid door ajar
light keeps turning on, which turns on
the lights inside the car and I can't
find those sensors to see if they're
stuck or just aren't being pushed
or whatever. :(

when you open the door, look at the bottom of the inside border of the door, you will find this rubber piece sticking out with a pushable rubber circle at the end. That's what your looking for.

The side door sensors are very obvious and are below the latch. Haven't looked at the hatch, but it won't be hard to find either.

yea it was in an accident.

Well in that case i think something is not lining up properly, so its causeing the sensor to not turn off. It sounds like your chassis may have flexed, and not returned to the proper shape.

i can't find any sort of buttons... usually i see them where the door is hinged at, but none on mine...

Well 2g is near the latch, not hinge.

i c... what about a 1G?

not sure, ive never had one :)

Now I'm gonna have to go outside, smoke a cig, and look at my 1g and see where the $*(&# it is.. I'm pretty sure it's in the bottom rear corner of the door, strait down from the latch on the 1stG..

*yep, it is* for the hatch, i have no idea, too dark to see.

lol ok... bottom rear corner? straight down from the latch? is that in the middle? is there a button? or a lever? or what?
