Factory turn signal assembly

I was wondering if any body has ever tried to take apart the turn signal assembly and take out the orange reflector out to make them clear corners instead of buying them. A couple of buddies of mine thought about seeing if that would wrok and so I will post on how to do it. It could be a free mod.
