Which Turbo is Stronger

Hi, I was just curious which turbo is stronger for the 7MGTE. The T04B or the T04E. Also If anyone has an old MK3 license plate theyd be willing to sell to me that would be great. Thnx

There both the same strength, do you mean which one will make more power under the same circumstances? Which will be more efficient making that power?

I ment which would make more power under the same circumstances and which would be more efficient at making the power. Sry for my original question being so confusing.

No problem man, I just like to clarify stuff. :biggrin: Basicly, B is the older version of the To4 family, tons of different parts available, wheel sizes, housings, everything. The E is newer, and more efficient but still won't make the same power as the T04B, 450 is about the limit for it I hear. For the 7M you'll want to either look at the 54, 57, 60 trims for the To4E, and 60-1, 62-1 for the To4B.

Hey thx for the info. Do you have any suggestion on engine mods to help support the turbo. Also Im gonna buy the attachment part off up supra sport, and they have a manifold that goes with the turbo. Do you have any idea if that manifold would be a neccesity. Thx again

If your talking about there To4 adapter peice that makes it possable to bolt a To4 flanged turbo to the stock manifold then no you won't need anything else other than the oil lines and custom DP. My brother and I will be selling Blitz style To4 flanged tubular manifolds soon, but you probably don't have time to wait a few months to get a couple made. As for supporting mods I'd say just the basics depending on what boost you plan on running, you could do a Lex/550 upgrade (or get the custom SS Lexus AFM housing), S-AFC, definetly get an accurate boost gauge, maybe a FPR and FP gauge, walboro fuel pump, maybe a AVCR, I'm sure I'm missing some things but thats the majority of it. It really all depends on how far you want to go with it.
